Netvibes continues to grow and user signups have increased 25% on a weekly basis since two weeks ago. This means more of our dashboard apps are being used than ever before.
That’s why we’ve made major improvements to the Netvibes Ecosystem to help deliver apps faster, cleaner and to even more users on more platforms. Now you can even install your favorite Netvibes apps on Chrome and Blogger!
Faster: We’ve got a lot of feedback on improving Netvibes’ speed and responsiveness, and we’ve listened! Eco now runs roughly four times faster than before. This is important so we can serve more users instantly, especially on mobile devices.
Cleaner: We want to make sure that the best apps remain. From now on, buggy or unused ones will be progressively removed to ensure the best app experience.
More New Platforms: Most importantly, with our 3 new compilers, you can now use Netvibes on a wider range of platforms:

Business developers can also now deploy UWA apps with a native-like UI on iPhone, iPad and other mobile platforms (Android, BlackBerry OS 5 & 6, HP WebOS 2 & 3).
Other improvements:
- New “Tools” page – 3rd party extensions and other goodies!
- New Multifeed wizard – Instantly make your own multi-feed app!
- New thumbnails system for Apps/Dashboards/Themes
- Improved IE support
- Improved Theme editor with previews
- Other bug fixes and security improvements

As you can tell, Netvibes is still growing and we’re still working on improving our Dashboards, for both our Basic and Premium users. The first step is to ensure the long-term growth of quality apps for our dashboards with a faster, cleaner Ecosystem that runs on even more platforms.
We will continue to build out our Ecosystem and UWA technologies to help developers “code once, deploy everywhere”. Our motto is still to help people “dashboard everything” – everywhere on every platform.
So stay tuned for new apps built using for our new Ecosystem and UWA 2!
